Evolve: Neighbourhood Regeneration Through Partnership

Evolve Neighbourhood Regeneration is the agency supporting the community and working with partners in the Queens, Bedford, Worcester and Hawthorne neighbourhoods of Bootle. Our role is to bring together a wide range of organisations to work in partnership with local residents and businesses with the aim of improving the quality of life for everyone in the area.

At the heart of Evolve are local people - our purpose is to give people a voice and a way to influence the decisions which shape the future of where they live. We aim to promote respect and pride in both individuals and in the area.

We tackle issues such as the environment (keeping the area clean and green); education (providing learning and development opportunities for people of all ages); health (giving practical advice and guidance on how to become healthier); employment (creating job opportunities for local people and working with partners to encourage investment and job creation); decent homes (providing a range of quality homes for rent, sale and shared-ownership); and community safety (a wide range of initiatives from providing home security advice to dealing with the bigger issues of anti-social behaviour and fear of crime).
