Evolve: Neighbourhood Regeneration Through Partnership

At the heart of Evolve are local people - our purpose is to give people a voice and a way to influence the decisions which shape the future of where they live. We aim to promote respect and pride in both individuals and in the area.

There are a number of ways how you can get involved

• Evolve Residents Advisory Panel - the RAP is a group of local residents including home owners and rented occupiers which meets regularly to oversee the activities of Evolve and to advise on matters of policy and strategy
• Youth Forum - Evolve is currently developing a youth forum of younger community members with the purpose of giving them personal development opportunities. These young people will be encouraged to become the younger voice for the community - influencing plans for the area's future
• Solid Futures - this is an arts based project which enables people to tell their stories about living in the area - expressed in a creative way. It encourages people of all ages to work together to record the history and the aspirations for the neighbourhood
• Local Consultation events - Evolve facilitates regular forums and public meetings throughout the area - encouraging local people to actively participate in the on-going regeneration plans
