What We Do
Community Training and Development
Evolve is committed to providing local people with training and skills development to assist them in maximising their potential and to make the most of opportunities. This can be either access to employment based training or confidence building and personal development working closely with local schools and colleges.
Initiatives include:
- Community Development Qualification - run in conjunction with the Open College
- Environmental Services - working with IN Environmental to create jobs for local long-term unemployed people
- Personal Development opportunities through the Evolve Resident Advisory Panel
- Youth Citizenship Training - working with local youths to build their confidence and to develop their skills as young representatives for the community
- Healthy Living Workshops - active workshops working with people of all ages focussing on key issues of sexual health, drug awareness, healthy eating and stress management
- Providing work placement opportunities through partner agencies
